THE ADELAIDE HOTEL & TOWER

Rising to 58 storeys of granite, steel and glass at Bay and Adelaide Streets in Toronto’s Financial District, Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto features a sophisticated shape that culminates in a slender spire in the sky. One of the tallest new buildings in North America, Trump Tower encompasses 261 hotel guest rooms and suites, plus 118 luxury residences, including some of the largest penthouses in the city. Construction was a challenge, with the tower being built on one of the smallest downtown footprints—adjoining two of Toronto's busiest streets—and immediately next door to both Scotiabank, one of Toronto's largest and most active office towers, and the historic National Club of Canada. The complexity of the mixed-use ownership of this building, which involves a five-star hotel condominium and more traditional residential condominiums, demanded extraordinary professional surveying resources and attention to detail.

Krcmar provided professional services for the following:

  • project pre-design and site pre-development
  • marketing and sales disclosure documents
  • construction
  • planning and legal compliance
